New look?
I connected this morning on my sister's laptop. And the thread icons, the text boxes and buttons are more rounded.
Just your browser. Or a lie. Post a screenshot, and I might be able to spot what's wrong.
It's square on Windows VIsta laptop, and rounded on Windows 7?
When I'm on my laptop which uses vista, everything is square. And when I go to visit my dad on his computer everything is rounded...I don't know what he uses though.
When I used Internet Explorer, everything was square, but after switching to Firefox (much better) everything is rounded. I don't know about the most recent version of IE, but generally it has many bugs and glitches in its rendering of a page, and doesn't even implement many things fully.
So basically, everything is supposed to be round, but your browser was not capable of displaying it correctly.

pic or it didnt happen
I'm not entirely certain what causes it. Most of the time everything is given the curved corners, but on rare occasions I've seen squared off boxes. I think it has something to do with failiure to render the corners or something minor like that related to your screen's resolution and browser's zoomed-in/out state.
e.g Hold down the Control key and use the mouse scroll feature, just one turn should show you what I mean. I keep my browser showing everything on the DN to one-point zoomed out from default, makes things a tad smaller and less scrunched up.

Making rounded corners isn't supported in all browsers. I believe IE 9 will have support for rounded edges but IE8 doesn't have support yet. Unfortunately I believe the technique used by redink1 for the rounded edges is firefox specific. I hope the firefox specificness will be replaced by a general technique in the future... Ah well...
Oh,I have Internet Explorer and my sisterr has Mozilla Firefox. So Firefox causes the rounded corners ..............
