Re: Need some new Smallwood tunes?
Look no further!! What I have for ya'll is an 'EP' of sorts. 7 tracks, all (**but 1) completely made by yours truely, and this is me hyping them. When I have enough, I'll release an 'Album' of sorts for download from the DN, and those will be free to use in D-Mods. These however, I will not let you use in D-Mods, but if absolutely necessary, you may send me a PM/email telling me why you desparately need to use these now and can't wait another second.
**Track 04 - Dammit - Minor was originally a song written by blink-182, Dammit, but I rewrote it in a minor key. It now sounds epic and like you could use it in a fight scene.
Track 01 - Beside The Bow
Track 02 - Lesson In Minority
Track 03 - Dying Wounds
Track 04 - Dammit - Minor
Track 05 - Hardened Manly Fingernails
Track 06 - Octostrut
Track 07 - Folding Knowledge (Ft. Brass)
Most will have heard Hardened Manly Fingernails before, but the intro in this version is sexier, because if you play them right, the outro of Dammit flows into it.
Anyway, feedback is always nice, so tell me what you think.
And if you want to donate, PM me.

Feedback, Hm...
Link to Track 04 - Dammit - Minor links directly back to track 3?
(took me 4 edits to random type the correct link)
Other than that, AWESOME is the only word to sum up all of that.
To sum up having to left click the link, THEN click to download the attatchment (file itself) I would use the words Annoying and Worth It.

Need some new Smallwood tunes?
Yes, I need the tunes that you promised to create for Middle Night 3, around two years ago.

Most of them are quite good. However, many of the beats are very similar...
A nice collection overall.

"Link to Track 04 - Dammit - Minor links directly back to track 3?"
Heh heh, silly me.
Fixed.
"Yes, I need the tunes that you promised to create for Middle Night 3, around two years ago."
I must say, I honestly do not remember that.
"Most of them are quite good. However, many of the beats are very similar..."
Yeah, I guess I try to keep it fairly consistent throughout most of my song writing, but sometimes it possibly gets too consistent.
But I must say, I don't agree with you in regards to the last two songs.

I think I like the last tune the best. Also I didn't say all.

Very solid, consistently good stuff. You need to screw up to get more vivid feedback.
I don't think the songs are really similar if you compare any two to each other, just lacking variation on the whole, since most of it is "fight" type of music.

Listened the first one, liked it, but if the rest is anything like that, then it is not suitable for Dink or any RPG. Misses the true "feeling" of music in it, and just brings an image of a metal band playing live on a stage, while jumping around and posing without shirts... like Tal.

You could try to listen to all and then judge. Just saying that IF the rest is as you thought the first was, you're being very unfair.

All right, now that I listened to them all, the others are different, but most of them still posses somewhat of the feeling I described in my earlier post. Mainly because of the electric guitar sound used in them. It doesn't fit in an RPG/Dink atmosphere.
Its all about personal taste; I can picture the same thing as you if I wanted, but I chose to imagine Dink in massive slaughter brawls with time limits before everything explodes, or battling an awesome boss and its minions (not my FoD slime boss, she's not awesome).
I think most of those tracks could easily go into a Dink game if they were allowed to be used, and if used the right way.
