The Dink Network

I am stuck in POTA. How do I get the "sign of good will" to the man in the haunted forest? According to the walkthrough - i must collect the 'wobbly' sign near the church of good will HOWEVER - the sign is not wobbly and causes dink to simply exclaim "i hate churches" if i try to attack the sign.

also--is it possible to get a map in this d-mod?

I'm past that part, but I can't remember how I got it.
Try the dink solutions.

Did you go into the church and talk to the man?? He'll say something like * someone stole my sign* , then go out and kick it a few times...it will be wobbly then.

You need to do something else in the story if it is not wobbling.

Has the guy in the forest actually asked for the sign? I'm sure you have to talk to him first. Even if you think you did, you may want to double-check, it's easy to forget that you died reloaded since you did something.

He only says that someone stole his sign after you've taken (stolen) it.

Hit the sign.

I grabbed the sign and gave it to the guy...i had forgotten that i did not save it and then quit b4 directly going to the church...but for some reason the guy taught me iceball magic but it did not show up in my inventory....

another question -- can i get a map?

no map that I remember. The ice ball magic is in the rune, press 'm'.
