Set the depth que of the table higher than the number of the potions..

In dink-edit ( dos ) just select the table and ***+*** ( key ) will let you set its Depth_Que, just set it higher than the potions ( 2 for example )

Any fool can use a computer. Many do.
You can look at the bottom of the screen to see the coordinates of an object. Then you can take the object and press 8 to edit the depth que.

To expand on the advice you already got. Depth Que defaults to the Y cooridnate. So if one object is south of another it's "in front" but you can over-ride that but setting the Que to other than 0. (8 in DinkEdit). My advice is to not change the table's que, because if you aren't careful you'll end up with Dink standing on top of or under it. Instead, leave that as is and set the que of the item (plate/vase/whatever) to the table's Y plus 1. (And yes, that means theprophet got it backwards, highest is in front.)
