I thought "Naughty Dog" had made a Crash Bandicoot game for PS3 as well. Too bad they hadn't.

Anyway, I'm busy playing Tekken 6 and WhipeOut Fury at the moment but I'm planning on getting some additional games. I was thinking on some roleplaying games and some more games I could play with my GF like Sonic or, most preferred, Rayman! Do anyone know if they've made any Rayman games to PS3 yet?

Don't spoil this thread by comparing today's games with oldies. Dink Smallwood doesn't have better gameplay. Just swallow the nostalgia and move on.

I'n not aware of any Rayman games on the PS3.

As for RPGs, Demons Souls is supposed to be brilliant, if brutally hard. The new Final Fantasy isn't far off if you're into the series, and I've heard excellent things about Valkyrie Chronicles. Eternal Sonata is very pretty, if a touch twee. Disgaea might be the one to go for if you're at all into Nippon Ichi games.

I don't know if it's the kind of game you're looking for, but I definitely suggest to buy Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's one of the best games in a long time imho.

Life? What's that? Can I download it?!
The good games that I know of for the PS3 are Soul Calibur IV. Uh, that's about it I think.

I hated it when naughty dog left Crash and Insomniac left Spyro, both series have sucked ever since. Just get Uncharted 2 and keep an eye out for MAG. I'm sure you'll like them.

No there isn't any Rayman for PS3. I reccomend you to play Marvel vs Capcom 2 by internet. It's very addicting and also fights are pretty fast and exciting.

Gameplay? Dink Smallwood? There are much better games around, I'm here because of the fun of making dmods.

Let us save our effort and just lie down and die.
Baldur's gate and NWN1 were the pinnacle of good gameplay

Thanks for all advices so far, guys. I've taken some of the games you mentioned in consideration.

Too bad they didn't continue on the Rayman series, I really enjoyed it on PS1.

Well, Dink Smallwood has some unique gameplay and a free opportunity to create a better gameplay then just kiting enemies in a big circle by using fireball.

That's why I enjoy Dink so much - It's a great feeling when you're developing something. May it be a good story, a nice terrain or some great scripting. Fun.

I like Dink because it's free. If I had to pay to play it I would say "Screw this, there's probably something better in the Ubuntu package repositories anyway (Wesnoth, anyone?)"

On the Rayman series, I don't think it revived until the first Raving Rabbids game where Rayman actually mattered. Now it's just "Rabbid do this, Rabbid eat that" which makes for a nice party game for people who have many friends and moderate taste in video games. It was nice when DSiWare released the original Rayman for download, though.
