Vista doesn't like Dmodders is all.
Save the script to a different directory, like a Scripts folder in your Documents directory, and then copy the script file from there to your Dmod's story folder. You'll have to confirm twice that you ARE in fact doing that before it'll copy, but thats all you need to do.
Changing the security level of every file and folder in your Dink directory won't help, so this is pretty much the only method possible. Vista is just overly security b**chy.

Bonus tip: Create a shortcut in your Dmod's story folder leading directly to your alternate scripts folder for easier copypasta access via the Back and Foreward buttons.

Life? What's that? Can I download it?!
Also be sure to have admin access and UAC off.

The easiest way to go from here is to install Dink into your My Documents folder.

I have vista, and I don't have any issues when D-Modding.

Don't run your system as admin. It's a security liability.

Hmm, I was replying to DinkKiller, who either has some wrong access rights set up to all of his computers' files, or he installed Dink and the editor into a place where he has full rights (like the My Documents folder).
