We have too many staff.
In order to be staff Redink has to trust you (please don't point out the problems with me being staff based on that
), trust is a big part of this. I mean right now if I wanted to, I could pretty much take down this site, it's just that simple. Secondly, you can't be a person that is here today, gone tomorrow (this is also applied to noobs, you have to be around for awhile). Secondly, you can't be a spammer, which theprophet is. (haha, sucker )
Really our staff isn't lazy. There just isn't anything to do. The junior staff has not real access, so they can't do anything but give us input on things, and yell at people if needed. The senior staff, who has access to everything but dynamic4 has nothing really to do but validate reviews and make sure people don't blow up the site.
If we feel that we need another staff member, we would probably choose someone we talk to on a daily basis, and have proven to us that we can depend on them. Not anything against theprophet, but I have never spoken to him in my life, and he has broken a ton of rules on the board (this is not to say we all haven't). Staff isn't something we hand out like Candy on Halloween, but to the select few who can do it and take it. We work as a team, and for the most part, I talk to everyone on this team daily (except for dukie and kyle who may be dead...).
