Aaaargh! This D-MOD is one of the worst at the Dink Network! There are hundreds of reasons why I say this, some are more appropriate than others. If you really want to know why I think this then read the Strengths and Weaknesses section below. Basically in this D-MOD you have to save Anthony. Ok, then what? You ask, nothing I reply. Absolutly nothing, this D-MOD is poor, very poor, read below to find out why...

Strengths
---------

Average storyline.

Weaknesses
---------

This D-MOD seems to have a big map, or a pretty big map for a romp when you look at it in Dink edit, but of all those screens only a few of them are used! Walk north on the first screen and there is a screen full of badly tiled grass! Walk north again and another screenful of it! Takes you quite a bit to actually reach the road that you are supposed to be on! There are hundreds and hundreds of hardness errors and some really strange doors! Some doors don't do anything, while some explode, while some hurt you if you walk up to them! Some doors take you inside really badly put together places where nobody talks! This D-MOD is the worst I have ever played in my entire life! There are hundreds of bugs, errors and screenfulls of grass! ALL of the music here is from the original Dink, meaning nothing new. All the graphics here except the title screen are from the original Dink. The title screen absolutely sucks as well! It's all bright colours and pastal words that have been scrapped up in MSPAINT. No sound on the title screen whatsoever meaning, oh my god this is boring already. The buttons are the ones that you can find in SkeletonB meaning nothing new there either! The scripting absolutely sucks, and there are millions of spelling errors! Screenmatch is sometimes terribly done and very buggy! I tell you this D-MOD is packed with weaknesses and even at what I think is the end, where you save this Anthony, you are stuck! You can't go anywhere and are stuck in a cave with the evil boss that doesn't say a word and doesn't attack you and that's it! Can't go anywhere else! Oh my god this D-MOD is TERRIBLE! The game doesn't tell you anything either, why there is an evil wizard, why he has kidnappend Anthony! Heck! Even Cloud Castle is better than this (That's a Joke Sabre). I can't say much more apart from the fact that there are bound to be more errors and bugs that I couldn't find because as soon as I got stuck in the cave, away I went, pressed the esc. button and left in a mood! Terrible, do NOT download this D-MOD under any circumstances

Richard has to save Anthony.

Storyline: There is one, but it is non-consistent.

Map and graphics: Mapping is really bad: hardness-errors everywhere, the map is plain empty. Some graphics are blown up almost out of proportion.

Music: Fair. Though I'm still wondering where the music came from, because there are no midi.files in any directory.

Bugs: The game crashed several times (and every time behind the castle) and it wouldn't start at all a couple of times. Somehow I managed to get through though, but that was only after I used the editor to put a savebot in (since the only savebot in the whole game is after the end-boss) so I could continue instead of starting al over again every time - and that I avoided the places where the games crashes helped too.

Good: Funny is that Dink is in the game as a statue; he sells the flamebow. After buying it he changes into the bow-carrying Dink. The different way of entering houses is neat if it wasn't for the damage you suffer by it.

Not so good: The scenes with Martridge and the intro are repetitive, each time you enter that screen, it is played over and over again. There is no 'leave' with the choice-command. The sword and spells you get for free, but, to obtain the 13.000 gold for the flamebow which is necessary to kill the end-boss (as is explained through conversation), you first have to kill the end-boss!! The hellfire spell looks like the fireball spell in the inventory.
There is only 1 savebot: after the end-boss, which is not the way it should be. Although you start with quite some strength and so on, you can't level up enough since the baddies (which are few) don't come back and the end-boss is quite strong. With one knight in a house you can talk, but when you touch him, you'll suffer damage. The same goes for the doors: they open with a blast and you'll loose healthpoints. Due to all the hardness-errors you get stuck everywhere: when entering the screen with the end-boss I got stuck somewhere and had a hard time figuring out how to free myself before getting killed. The conversation is hard to follow, colourcodes change, there is no real end.

Overall: Very, very buggy.

Fit for: If you want to get really annoyed by a game that keeps on crashing… give it a try!

Tolerable. it was a tad amusing at times. I think the music came from the CD in my drive. So even after it crashed, I waited for the song to end just so I could hear "Take a Chance on Me" by ABBA. I don't think it deserves the worst rating of all the mods. It deserves a bad rating, but not the worse.

This D-Mod is the worst I played. I never seen worse map. There are a lot of bugs. This map is very borning - there a lot of screens vere only is grass (horrible grass). Only one thing is good: wizard, but it is from original dink and create it isn't difficult. I can't make D-mods, but when I make my first mini-Dmod it was better than "Richard's Attack".

PLease DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS D-MOD!!

I downloaded this game just because of the reviews... i was bored at the time and i thought it might be fun to try it out...see how bad it was. Well...first of all i have to quote Binirit "Music: Fair. Though I'm still wondering where the music came from, because there are no midi.files in any directory". That right there is a mind bender. Anyway, im not a mean person and i usually think better of things than they really are but this D-mod is not even really worth writing a review on. I think maybe he was just trying out the editor to see how it ran? or maybe it was a joke (i dont know) Bottom line is... DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS D-MOD! it is a waste of 230 kb~

Wow, what a "interesting" D-mod. Is it possible to make such a crappy map? you practically walk over one screen and your stuck on a mountain side. Some frames you walk down and run into a house. The doors explode and take damage from you and there is no sence of skill or effort put into this game. The worst part is you "need" the fire bow to beat the game.. yet its practically impossible to get it seeing even when you rake in all the cash on the floor in some house which of course is glitchy and poorly put together you are still 500 dollars short. The only saving spot is after you kill the last boss. There is even some guards in a empty house that take damage if you walk too close.. so it makes it scary talking to people. Overall if you cannot spell then maybe this game will give you a sence of pride seeing just how horrible the spelling is. Oh, if those orgres are not the final boss or something, then i am just extremely confused and never found it seeing the map is a maze because if you walk into the wrong screen the game crashes. You practically have to take note of the map and plan out your route to escape a glitching catastrophe. Hmm, try this mod out if of course you cannot spell.. or the only other reason is if you are so incredible bad at making D-mods that this might boost up your sence of pride and make you feel like you are an elite when it comes to mod making.
