Return to Rathor
A simple DMOD with not a whole lot to do. You are sent back in time to fix things with the Elves (or prevent them from getting bad in the first place). There isn't a whole lot of interaction. Combat is kept pretty minimal.
There are several minor cosmetic issues in the game, mostly dealing with misplaced depth dots or mis-coded animations (dink crawls into a cave, but the crawling animation doesn't match the location of the cave graphic). Nothing major or game freezing.
The major issue with the DMOD is that just when it seems like it is picking up, it is over. I would like to have spent a bit more time with it, but with such a short development time, it is understandable that it would be cut short. The story does wrap up nicely with the context of the Failure Theme, although I would have liked a bit longer ending
Overall, not bad, but nothing great. A decent, but very short, adventure.
This DMOD was an entry into the Failure DMOD contest. My ranking (excluding my own entry for objectivity) #4 of 7
