I like games.
I found this to be a nice, enjoyable romp. Carrie also seems to be developing her own style (with the 2d characters that are littered through Elves of Rathor, as well as this, her latest effort.

Generally graphics of this kind fit poorly into the Dinkiverse, but somehow, Carrie manages to pull it off. They add a certain charm to the game, which many d-mods lack.

The story is a simple one, and sends Dink on a small quest to find a healer named Cyrus(?), in order to help the king out of a certain... predicament.

The midi's, whilst not great, work well, and the same goes for the mapping. Simple, yet effective. Sadly, there are quite a few screenmatch, hardness and depth errors, but not so many as to make the game unplayable.

I only found 1 real bug, where after a battle with the new enemy (I won't spoil it for you... though sadly they still make pillbug squeels), I was trapped on a screenlocked screen. This only happened the once, but it was irritating, to say the least.

This is a quick, tidy romp with some excellent ideas (All I'll say is the blood would have been amazing if it was a bit more active), and is throughly worth the download.
