We all come here and we don't always go straight to the forums.
Sometimes we read posts here and ignore them, moving swiftly on to clear out the "new posts".
Other times we're here to submit our files, or download new ones.
My point being, no use expecting a reply immediately.
As for your question, if you mean mid-game, the game should tell you how to do that anyway if not do that on it's own. (I haven't checked that dmod, so not sure about that one, but there are other games where the player's sprite changes to another; e.g Cycles of Evil (if I remember correctly))
