How'd you do this?
Well,
If you have WinXP/Win2000,
put the installation CD in the CD player(the first one; if you have a D: and a E: drive, get it in the d: one)
Restart the computer
Choose "Boot from CD"
Choose "repair"
When you enter a console(text mode),log in as admin
Type "repair" and press enter
If you have Windows 95/98,
Put your installation CD in the drive,
and use "Search". While it's searching for the file, pray
If you eventually find it, copy it in C:\WINDOWS\System32(I hope)
Restart your computer.
If you have another version(NT 4, 3.1, MSDOS
) or what I said doesn't work,1)ask an expert
2)ask Microsoft
3)are you sure that this is the cause?
4)get a hammer and start banging on the computer's case till it gets fixed or you move in to an asylum
I'm not sure if it goes like this anyway, I don't remember it well, so you'd better ask someone else or look it up at Microsoft.
