I don't know the true answer to your question; however, I do know my own connotations of the word. "Wii" or "wee" in itself never brings anything obscene to my mind, more like a child like squeal of joy "Weeeeeee!" However, when it is doubled in to "we we" I do think of it in terms of a rod. Wow...got way too technical about that.
