: As he said above, when you get the bow (you buy it in kersin) Equip it in the items screen (press enter and select it with control).

: ok i must be a nob or something. I know how to equip to use and stuff, thats not my problem. I can kill the guard at the gate of the sancuary, but can't get the gate open. I can shoot arrows but they don't do any damage. When I go back to the guy I bought the bow from, he tells me where to go
to get it strengthened x3, but I can't figure out how to get there (where it is) either? please help!
