If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
It would be helpful if you'd say what files you are trying to delete as well as what operating system you are using.
However, in general, if you are using windows, press ctrl-alt-delete, bring up the task manager and shut down the various processes/applications that are related to what you are trying to delete.
