There is a bug 
with the pillars. I had the same problem b4. I was never asked the 2nd and 3rd riddle.
I had to go spacebar the pillars once to get the 1st riddle and then ctrl 4-2-3 and then go spacebar the pillars again. Then the way was clear. Try this.
