But surely, I don't know the situation where you live, but would you really prefer 56k dial-up over DSL? In my country it's pretty common to have broadband (either DSL or cable) so in case you live in the middle of the desert which makes those extremely expensive, then I can imagine you don't choose it.. but even the cheapest broadband has advantages over 56k - but you decide Back in the days it took me an hour to get a file like 8 - 10 MB on my HD.. not mentioning the occasional loss of connection and slow speed
