Hmmm, don't know what to say... others have gotten past this point of rescuing Skard without this. The description is a show_bmp() command that should just throw up the image and take it away once you press a key, and the script continues. You can zip up a saved game and send it to me to have a look. I've never had this problem either. It is weird.
