a) You can take parts of the crystals by hitting them in the cave.
b) You can learn the magic words later on in the Land of Punz.
c) You'll be able to defeat them later on, when you jujst arrive they're too difficult, just leave them alone for now.
I have no idea where you are right now and what you've already done, so I can't know what you need to do next
You can begin by looking around the entire place for potions, you'll need them.
