Thanks, metatarsal. I downloaded The Scourger again. And I'm now starting anew. Made several changes to the first download and tried editing the fish file (as per your initial directions)...*squawk*! Dink started from the screen desert to the snowlands 
(I was never good with directions *lol* even when young). So far no bugs - although I have to build up my levels for those nasty slimes in the catacombs. Persistence and determination can make up for speed (computer or fingers).
