Well, Dink 1.08 is the engine, and the source of the game (of the main game) is in the develop/source.zip file (the .c scriptfiles). The engine source would be like this but then with code added for v1.08 
You'd likely be able to find the new parts of code by searching for //redink1 or just by looking for parts of code that don't look like a complete Sethmess
