I don't get it, if you ask them something like that, then you'll know which is which, and then take the path next to the one who tells the truth.
Or do you have to ask them something and then take the path they direct you?
EDIT: Gah, stupid me, I think I get it now. The brothers arent gaurding the path, so if you find out which is which, you still don't know which way to go.
