Fill a bottle about halfway up with water and calcium carbide. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS since calcium carbide + water produces acetylene, and
1. Acetylene explodes when it is put under a pressure greater then 1 bar.
2. Acetylene + oxygen is VERY unstable and can explode anytime you don't want it to explode.
3. Acetylene is just a tiny little bit less powerful then hydrogen, and they use that stuff for launching space shuttles. Go figure.
Don't try this at home. I didn't tell you not to do it anywhere else.
