Reply to Annoying Flickering screens

Hello everyone,
I enjoy playing Dink a lot (for the past 5 years
) but somehow I have a problem.
Now when I load Dink my screen starts flickering (something that used to happen when my refresh rate or anti-aliasing wasn't correct on my voodoo 2). But now I have an ATI Radeon 9800 and never had this problem before.
I tried to adjust my 3D card settings but to no avail. I tried to repair the install files, and even a complete install but still without results.
I tried all the windows compatibility settings but still no result.
The screen keeps flashing which is very irritating. I tried to delete the dink.ini (even the one in the windows directory) but that didn't work too.
I know this topic has been posted before but somehow I can't seem to find it (maybe it was deleted when TDN switched to this blue lay-out instead of the banana tree forum i dunno).
If someone can help me, it would be really appreciated .
