Hmm... okay... she met the guy at the convention and decided to marry him right there on the spot? That's... different. I've found most anime fangirls (or any fangirl) a bit weird in a way that doesn't jive with me.
Anyway, I think maybe I suppose the lesson to learn through this is to make an effort to be more assertive. It helps get the girl and women dig assertiveness to boot. It really helps if you can convince yourself that you have absolutely nothing to loose and in many cases it's the truth.
