The tutorial (the one from Dink Solutions i think...) just says to face the tree and talk to it...i thought i'd mentioned that...ahh well i'm just a bit ditzy so i may not have 
And i tried talking to the shell...Dink dosent say anything at all...this happened with the stone thing in story 4 - befroe i talked to the preist about the bag...so do i have to talk to someone possibly?
