If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
It's alright for games that are 3d since it has a lot of 3d import/export options. However, it would be a poor choice for making sprites in Dink. I tried it once, and you're far better off using a free program such as Blender or Anim8or for making 3d rendered sprites.
