If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
DeathDink,
First things first:
NO NEED TO SHOUT !!
We're quite friendly people here so why shout at us ?
Then on to your question, which you've described with the utmost eloquence...
I presume your computer doesn't understand the dmod extention as you haven't got DFArc installed.
DFArc is a tool you need to install the .dmod files.
Download it from :
http://www.dinknetwork.com/display.cgi?action=File&ID=448
I guess that solves your problem ?
Grz, Matrice
*EDIT*
I see that in the mean time some more info has been posted.
If your downloads are less than 1 Mb, than in some cases that would be quite correct, however for the larger dmod's that's obviously not so.
Have you tried downloading the file from all three mirror sites ? If for one the connection doesn't work for you, you may be luckier on one of the *two* other ones available.
Alternatively if all downloads are under 1 Mb - independent of which mirror you use -, then most likely either your computer / your connection or your ISP has a limit setting activated for the filesize of downloads or the time allowed for a download.
