OK, here is a story. Albeit a simple one, but you could easily expand on it to make it better.
King Daniel has been turned to stone by some malevolent force. This could be an evil wizard, an ancient artifact, or a curse by the Evil Witch of Sabretroutyevil.
Dink must travel to 3 continents to get the ingrediants for an Anti-petrification potion. Along the way, he has all kinds of Dinky adventures,
This was part of the plot for my canned d-mod Valhalla, and it works pretty well (Well, I like to think so anyway!).
