didn't he do it by having to gold variables that were supposed to be synchronised. Like a gold2 that that was added to or subtracted from whenever gold was? Then if gold was added to by an illagidimate script,ie. a cheat, it would be designed to add it to the second variable. Thus it could check to make sure the variables were equal to see if you cheated. It could make them equal again, and prevent cheating by setting both variables back to zero. This is all guessing, but thats how I would do it.
