keep it real
natives were communists? i think its two different things.

communism/socialism requires very structured government and economy, it works with taking a government and breaking it down and using it to level things out with the goal to achive the absolute dissolution of class and government.

i would say the natives started with no class and government and built up small communities from that. they had no government or establishments besides the culture of whatever tribe they were born into. they just hadnt reached the same status yet of the people who took them over.

i think the downfall of the native culture was the evolution of higher government by other nations. ie europe. europe had evolved into empires with structured governments and mass cities and technology and such, and then those empires set out to expand, take over other lands and such.

so the natives had the freedom that was before government and technology had a hold. now that the world consists of "civilized" nations/empires. where can it exist now? maybe in some depleting rain forest of "third world" country like the anarchist zapatistas, where modern civilization hasnt managed to mow and pave its way to yet. but thats only a matter of time.

communists say the government will fall apart, and the world will go back to before it ever was. but me, i think it will never happen. not before the world is dead.
