After watching a movie by the strangely coincidental title of this post, I decided that the risks were just too much to take to think about it, and that my intelligence quotient had lowered somewhere around a hundred points. It was then that I questioned the American Dream and if the dream was ever a reality to anyone other than stoners in their abstract states of mind. What is the American Dream? Why did so many people spend their lives trying to find it up through the 1970's? How many people actually pursued it and succeeded in finding it? What about the people who weren't Americans, but were just looking for a more peaceful way to live? Those free spirited bastages. Always jumbling my mind with questions like these.
