Why didn't anyone in there correct me? There are lots of mathematical intelligent human beings here.
x^2 + 2 = 0 is wrong, it should be x^2 - 2 = 0
The solution of the first one is sqrt(2)*I or -sqrt(2)*I if I remember correctly.
Sqrt means square root, in this case.
