So you like old Egypt, neithskye? Then you'll like my explanation, I guess.
As a kid I was fascinated by Old Egypt and I knew all the names of all the pharao's and stuff like that. I also wanted to able to read hieroglyphs. But since the real work was far out of reach since you had to be in university for that and I was only 8 or so by that time, I sticked to the books I could get in the library and learned the hieroglyphs that were given in those.
I still have all those hieroglyphes and their translation that I copied by hand from those books...
Anyway, when I had to make up a nick, I decided to use some hieroglyphs. I tried several combinations and ended up with Binirit, which sounded kinda nice with all the letters 'i' and also meant something nice, namely 'lovely sweetness'.
At that time, I hadn't played FF or any of such games, otherwise my nick probably would be something completely else, like 'bloodhound'.
