keep it real
so i have a philosophy class in college now and the teacher tried to define "evil" as "the pointless intent to do harm" and i just want to talk about this. this sucks. this definition is terrible.

laws label certain acts as wrong because they either 'negatively affect others,' or, it is assumed that the intent behind the act is to cause harm or chaos and will therefore disrupt order/convenience/money of the ruling party. its not a matter of right and wrong.

but what is truely evil is not an act. acts are not evil, they are simply a chain of events carried on by an individual who holds the intent behind commiting the act. the evil or good is within the individual. therefore the evil is the intent.

shooting someone in the head is not evil. it goes beyond this.

this also applies to words. a word in itself is a string, or an array of chars. the human interpreting the word holds the meaning of the word. so therefore no word is evil.

with that being said, i would like to announce that i will now be calling people flamming homosexual butt fairies. and if you have a problem with that then you are ignorant. and you have a sick mind.
