I dont really like Christmas its always really hot and sunny and boring

There are three things that are generally celebrated at this time of year. The oldest one is the feast that the shortest day has past, and now the days are getting longer again. This is celebrated with symbols of light (candles) and life (trees). The second thing is the birth of Christ. It makes some sense that these are connected; according to the Bible, He is also some sort of return of the light. And finally, there is the materialistic santaclaus thing where you have to buy as much as you can and give it away to people who don't have a use for it.

Given your previous posts, I take it you don't consider the latter two a reason for celebration. And for the first one, you're on the wrong hemisphere.
