It is true that the Bible has some good life lessons in it. It's also true that it has some TERRIBLE lessons in it, and horrible examples of "love" being taught to kids. The problem is that most of us having religion forced down our throats aren't old or smart enough to figure out which lessons are the good ones or the bad ones.
