I ended up killing him with the sword and found the 'fourth magic' - the superfire or something.
But now is that it.
I think ive missed so much, how do you get to the ducks and the banished goblin castle, was i supposed to get a job and move into that house and furnish it with custom made furniture from the guy with the mean little daughter. There is so much on the map i havnt seen.
