The reason it didn't, as advertised, burn down snowy trees in the version 1.0 that I first posted is actually a mistake I made... I made the cheat back in January or February and had it installed on multiple computers, and I edited it a whole bunch of times back then, and the computer I am on now (my desktop) is not the same computer that I first developed it on (a netbook my family uses when we go on vacation). I think I overwrote a newer version of the cheat with an older version of the cheat, since I seem to recall fixing that bug in March or April but all the file dates for version 1.0 were from January or February. Anyway, now that it's on this website, I won't accidentally overwrite newer versions of the cheat with older versions when I copy it from one computer to another, since the latest version will always be right here on this website. Sorry for being so absent-minded...

Oh, and I am thinking of adding new features to the cheat in future versions, but they may or may not make the cut, depending on whether I have the coding skills to implement them:
* Changing the weapon/item editor to have the weapons and items found in Pilgrim's Quest rather than the original Dink Smallwood.
* Changing the magic editor to have the magic spells found in Pilgrim's Quest rather than the original Dink Smallwood.
* Making the medium fireball put out the fires of the fire trees, just like that scroll behind the ice queen's castle, except faster (the scroll seems to have long delays when you use it).
* Cleaning up the code for the medium fireball (in version 1.1, it's rather long... I could probably get it to be less than half the length it is now and still have it work, but my focus for version 1.1 was just making sure it worked without bugs, not getting the code to be as compact as possible... also it has 3 variables declared at the beginning when I could probably do it with just 1 variable, but again, the focus in 1.1 was on getting it to actually work without bugs, not beautifying the source code).
* Making the large fireball do even more damage so it can kill any enemy just by using it once, no matter how high their defense or hit points are.
* Having the attacks done by the cheat not attack Skard, not attack the woman following you at the beginning of the game, etc.
* Possibly changing the damage done by the medium fireball (maybe it should be higher, maybe it should be lower, I dunno).
* Being able to resurrect Skard if she dies.
* Being able to make Dink and/or Skard impervious to harm.
* Being able to edit Skard's stats.
* If any of the things I add to Pilgrim's Quest Cheat work on other DMODs and the regular Dink Smallwood, maybe I'll post an updated Ultimate Cheat suitable for use on the regular Dink Smallwood and on other DMODs, without the Pilgrim's Quest stuff (so far all the enhancements are specific to Pilgrim's Quest, so that won't happen any time soon).
* If anyone else has any ideas on stuff they want added to the cheat, I might do that stuff too.
* Having a quest or maybe just a short funny scene added to this DMOD to get Dink's left testicle back from the dragon that bit it off in Stone of Balance (the DMOD that Pilgrim's Quest is the sequel to).

Again, these are all just ideas of things I might add to Pilgrim's Quest Cheat, if I have the time and coding skills to implement them, and I'll probably only do a few of them, if any. I am just brainstorming here. Feel free to add ideas of your own or say whether you like or dislike any of these ideas on future features for this cheat. My last idea about getting Dink's left testicle back is a joke, but I might put it into the cheat anyway, because Dink deserves to have it back after all these years, poor lil' fella.

Oh, and thanks to Simon Klaebe for making Pilgrim's Quest open-source in January 2005. I couldn't have done this cheat without his valuable work making his DMOD open-source and documenting how it works. I am serious here. Simon Klaebe, if you ever read this Internet comment (which I doubt), thanks for making your Pilgrim's Quest DMOD open-source, you rock.
