They want to call it a 'holiday' tree so as to not offend people of other religions. I'm offended, therefore their point is lost. I say 'Merry Christmas' a person, and if they say, 'I'm not a Christian' or 'I don't celebrate christmas', I say, 'Well, I'm still wishing you a happy day on the day that it coincides.' For me, it doesn't matter if a person is Muslim, Buddhist, or any other religion. I respect their choice even if they don't respect mine.
