Every country has its deadly regions and its safe spots. In most of the US, you can sleep outside under the stars without worrying. But in the mountains where I come from, you would wake to find a bear or a mountain lion chewing on you. Or down in Florida, they have all kinds of nasty deadly things running around the swamps. Hawaii has its share of deadly poisonous sea creatures. And the Gulf of Mexico has all kinds of deadly jelly fish and sharks. There are deadly creatures everywhere!
