No... it's not exactly the same. I will, on occasion, say something strongly opinionated on a thread. I'm fine with that going down every once in a while for anybody. People need to let off steam. You, however, do it in nearly every thread you contribute to; fanning flames and sparring with newcomers way past the point of sanity.
The real issue is that you lack any sense of subtlety, proportion, or self-perception, which makes see things in the way that you do. The main reason I never pushed for your banning was the fact that I know you're honest in your convictions, but you just push them far beyond any necessary point. You haven't been here that long, and your post count is far beyond anyone else here. I don't mind you here, just ducking chill a bit with all the negativity directed at every other person here; especially the newbies.
