Dont blame the PG rating I think Smackdown was always PG
Blame the fact that their is not A monday night war WWF vs WCW
The reason for the Attitude era was to go up against Ted Turners WCW so Vince had to change the wrestling,content and look in general
from WWF RAW TO WWF RAW IS WAR
By 2000/2001 WCW was losing mainly beacuse austin/rock/HHH fueds
some people say Wrestlemania 17 was the conclusion of the attitude era when austin turned heel and joined machmahon and started with stone cold face turn and bret harts heel turn at WM13.
