I've been using that very DMOD as a test case as it's very tricked-out.

What about trying a few other romps? Another Dmod I can at least recommend testing would be the One-Screen Dmod compilation, or Bug Mania. Those two are fairly different to regular Dmods, and there could be other larger ones that are similar in the differences.
