I would assume that a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version might operate differently in respect to the location that programs are installed, but I'm not sure wether there is a 32 bit version of Win. 7 and quite frankly I'm too lazy to look it up. (Yet not lazy enough to not research internet um... "sub culture"...)
