Thanx Sparrowhawk, did get it before. I was confused by the word 'log' as it means 'log of a tree' as well as 'log as in diary or note'
Now trying to find the hermit. Story 2 does have twists in the tale -a lot.
The only house is the healer's house I could find around there. Unless its very cleverly hidden or something I cannot see it.
