Re: My Website - Closed
The Doctor Who MIDI Club is officially closed down, sort of. No one was showing any interest at all in any of my MIDIs, I was getting what, 4 hits a day? And 2 or 3 of those were usually mine. Over the whole year I ran it, I received 4 Submitted MIDIs. It was just appalling! It was a complete waste of my time. So, I quit. I kept the site there with all my MIDIs and stuff still available, but I'm not going to update it any more.
So don't look at me weird if I get all emotional on you.

sux. i used your site occasionaly. i liked ur pirate MIDIs
Most of the pirate ones weren't my original creations, I just fiddled with them. I said that in their descriptions.
But, thanks for your support, dude.
Perhaps if you had submitted some of your own MIDIs, though...

Perhaps try and get traffic elsewhere? TDN is not really the biggest community on the net y'know.
Even if there were not many visitors, you could just have put up a notice "no longer accepting submissions" and keep it online for whoever wants to view it... As long as the site was on a free host it shouldn't be a problem.

What DaVince said.
If I ever get around to making some Midi's, I would certainly send them to your site if you keep that part open.

Yeah, but, school is getting heavy, you know. High School is tough. And besides, less of this stuff gives me more time to spend with my girl and stuff, you know. I'm gonna try and keep making some occasionally, and if I make something absolutely superb I might show you all, but, you know.
Anyway, I have tried advertising on many other sites, but people just don't appreciate MIDIs much these days, you know.
