Re: Video tutorial help pls!!!
I'ev tryed to get the simon k vidio tutorials to work becuse I'v heard from a friend that they help new d-mod makers alot. The problem is that I cant seem to get the vidio to run it just trys to put it on my computer as a d-mod any solutions?
O and so people dont get mad at me for makeing a compleatly new topic out of this. I got the basics of scripting down but i cant seem to find scripting tutorials for multipul choice conversations and shop conversations.
I also would like to know how to have conversations change depending on what you do on the map ,like killing the duck in the original game how she starts to treat you like crap after you kill her pet duck. pls help by scripting it out on this for me or telling me some tutorials.

Most things are just explained in the DinkC help document... Open DinkDir\development\DinkC.chm and check out all the functions and explanations that are waiting for you!

Now that is very depressing =(. I just got the a new computer it has the most resent windos system vista and the program "dinkc help" was typed on is not compatibal with the windos system vista =(.

Wha? Not compatible? You're probably doing something wrong. Now, assuming you installed Dink to the default directory...
1.) Open up Windows Explorer by pressing the 'Start' key on your keyboard (Inbetween Ctrl and Alt on the left side).
2.) Expand the drive 'C'.
3.) Expand the folder 'Program Files'.
4.) Expand the folder 'Dink Smallwood'.
5.) Enter the folder 'develop'.
6.) Double click the program 'DinkC.chm'.
If you see no '.chm' after the 'DinkC' bit, then go to:
'Tools' -> 'Folder Options' -> 'View' tab[/i]
Then deselect [b]'Hide extensions for known file types' and select 'Display the full path in the address bar' and 'Display the ull path in the title bar'.
