The Dink Network

Hi there,

I made the whole walkthrough up to the forest. When I head back to the hut I gain one magic plus the scroll giving me the fireball.
Now the fireball appears in the inventory. But when I select and use the fireball (the icon is correct), Dink starts to sing.
This makes it impossible to enter the school of magic, because I can't sing to the tree until it burns down
What's wrong..seems to be a mash up with the singing scroll from Quest1...
anyone got an idea how to overcome?

I had this same problem, select fireball and then press the ctrl key. now you have really selected fireball. Wierd, I know.

Whenever you select an item from inventory (both magic and items) you use the arrow keys to move the selection box to that item, then press the CTRL key to select it. That item should now appear in the right hand box if it is an item, or the left hand box if it is magic.

Then press your enter button to go back to the main screen. The magic Item you selected (fireball) should now be in the left window. Remember to press the (Shift) key to use the magic selected. If you press the (CTRL) key he will use the irme that is selected in the right hand window.
