Hi all,

I am currently playing Pilgrim's Quest v1.30 right now. It is a great dmod so far.

However, I ran into a problem. I have the sack of beet seeds and I have found the tree to burn but I can't burn the tree. The tree that I am trying to burn is across the Ice Bridge and then south and then the last tree going East. If I try and talk to the tree, it says "Shhh. Don't tell anyone. I am a special tree." or something to that effect so I am sure this is the correct tree. But when I shoot Hellfire at it nothing happens and I get the message saying that I can't burn trees with snow on them. I have bombarded the tree over and over again.

My magic is at 12. I am at 9-8-9 for Agility-Honour-Luck.

Do I need a minimum value on any attributes?

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thank you.

Well, it should burn... weird. Hellfire should take the snow off the tree and then either Hellfire or Fireball will burn the tree to reveal the secret.

Save the game, zip up the save and email it to me at simonk@australiamail.com

Hi Simon,

Thanks for your response. After seeing your message, I realized what I did wrong. I am new to the game so I mistakenly thought I had the Hellfire spell when in actuality it was Fireball. I went back to the magician to see if he could teach me any more. Imagine my embarrassment when he said he could teach me Hellfire. I got that went to the tree and was able to melt the snow and then burn it and as a result I was able to plant the seeds and continue on with this great dmod.

Thank you for your help.
